House in de Rijp

Taking advantage of the renovation needed after buying this house, the clients wanted to transform this attic into a main bedroom with a bathroom. We proposed to remove all the existing walls and clear the space, creating an independent area in the house with the atmosphere of a hotel room.

The design proposal considered the addition of a new dormer along the entire width of the room to gain space and drastically improve sunlight in this formerly dark space. The shower and the toilet are hidden in discrete cabins, while the prominent bathtub in its center emphasizes the idea of a room for self-care and relaxation.
